BlockNote.Net Features

Editing environment

BlockNote.Net utilizes a very intuitive and compact editing environment. All functions required to create and edit your web pages, including; tables, images and hyperlinks are accessible through short cut menus, or the Application key on any Windows Natural Keyboard. Which means no more obscure toolbars and rarely used advanced design features, and more room for your work. Simply right-click to see the shortcut menu, and get started!
BlockNote.Net’s powerful editing engine adheres strongly to the WYSIWYG principle. It allows you to edit your documents exactly as they will appear in all popular browsers. Documents and web pages imported into BlockNote.Net aren’t given any hidden or fixed properties. Special attention was given to creating a web editor with “predictable” behavior.

Tables

Tables are essential in shaping and defining the layout of HTML documents. BlockNote.Net’s table capabilities are powerful, yet simple to use—add rows to a table with a single keystroke! Cut-and-paste sections or entire tables inside the same or other tables. Utilize additional table functions such as merging, splitting cells, inserting and removing columns and rows, easily through intuitive shortcut menus. Because tables are so widely relied upon by industry professionals, BlockNote.Net’s rendering and editing engine is one of the fastest on the market!

Supported file formats

BlockNote.Net not only supports pure .html files, but also allows you to create and edit your documents in .mht format (Web Archives—MIME file format). Web Archive is a file “envelope” or “bundle” for .html text and the pictures to which it refers. Using .mht files is ideal for creating documents that include pictures. A single .mht file, containing multiple images, can be transferred without the need to attached tens, or even hundreds of separate image files. Like other WEB documents, Web Archives can be viewed using Microsoft Internet Explorer, eliminating frustrating “picture not found” problems.

Copy and Paste

BlockNote.Net was designed for easy content management. To transfer content within BlockNote.Net or to and from other “html friendly” programs, simply use universal cut-and-paste commands for Cut (CTRL-X), copy (CTRL-C) and paste (CTRL-V)! For other supported commands see Full List of Keyboard Shortcuts
Printing

BlockNote.Net can print your documents on any printer or network printer. If you require professional print services, export your file into popular Adobe® PDF format.
BlockNote.Net works on all widely used Microsoft Windows® operating systems: Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT4, Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
