Nokia has launched the X2-01 music phone in India which is priced at Rs. 4,459. It has a full QWERTY keypad, which makes the X2-01 look less like a music phone and more like a business phone. The phone also has a 2.4-inch QVGA display, microSD card slot, Bluetooth and a camera that shockingly captures images only in VGA resolution. The Nokia X2-01 runs on Symbian S40 Java based operating system.



Other features in Nokia X2-01 has an integrated email client that supports Ovi Mail, Yahoo! Mail, Gmail, Windows Live, Hotmail and other popular POP/IMAP services. The Nokia X2-01 also offers direct access to Facebook from the homescreen and comes with Nokia Messaging application for email and Instant Messaging requirements.

Memory expandable up to 8 GB. Stereo FM Radio with RDS Support. Nokia X2-01 QWERTY music phone includes 3.5 mm audio port, Stereo FM Radio with RDS (has built-in antenna), voice recording, Voice Memo, JAVA MIDP 2.1 support, integrated dual stereo speakers, dedicated music keys and audio media player supporting MP3/WMA/eAAC+ files and video player supporting MP4/H.263 files. Music can be managed using the Ovi Player PC client or Windows Media Player 11.



For a music phone, it also lacks dedicated music playback keys but there is a shortcut button for the music player on the front and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The X2-01 is powered by a 1020mAh battery and would be available in five colors - Red, Deep grey, Silver, Lilac and Azure.
